Bao Au Joint Stock Company was established in Tuyen Quang a mountainous province with many mineral resources and prominent mineral deposits such as Antimony, lead, zinc, iron, tin, etc. Our goal is to take advantage of the available resources in the area and process them with great care to produce high-quality products at competitive prices to always satisfy all customers of any demands.
The government created a policy calling for the deep processing of minerals and other sources. With incentives given by the Tuyen Quang provincial government, the shareholders of Bao Au Mineral Joint Stock Company decided to invest in a metal antimony factory with a capacity of 800 tons Sb/year with a total investment of up to 150 billion Vietnamese dongs.

The Bao Au factory was built in 2014 in a very difficult mountainous region. Despite the challenges, the factory has had great social significance creating stable jobs for nearly 100 workers in the area and gradually closing the gap between social classes.

The first batch of metal antimony that met export quality was produced in 2016. In 2018, the factory has expanded and built a second production line to produce 90% zinc oxide (ZnO) with a capacity of 1,000 tons/year supplying domestic factories to produce Frit. The factory expanded further and started building the third workshop in 2021 to produce zinc sulphate with a capacity of 3,000 tons/year.
